Plumbers perform faucet repairs, water heater installations, plumbing system replacements, and more.

• Respond promptly to customer service calls, conduct thorough inspections, diagnose problems accurately, offer effective solutions and estimates, and successfully close service sales.
• With appropriate licensing, install and repair various plumbing fixtures, including sinks, toilets, bathtubs, water heaters, garbage disposal units, dishwashers, and water softeners.
• Conduct sewer and drain cleaning services in diverse environments such as basements, roofs, confined spaces, and close quarters; ensure thorough cleaning and restoration of work sites to pre-job conditions.
• Prepare invoices, totaling costs of services/products provided, collect payment, and explain Roto-Rooter guarantees, both in writing and on provided smartphone.

• A valid driver’s license.
• State plumbing license preferred.
• Three or more years of repair and service plumbing experience required; proven track record in sales of plumbing products and services required.
• Full knowledge of plumbing systems essential for performing duties.
• Plumbers must obtain Excavation Certification through Competent Person Training (OSHA requirement) within the first year of employment;
  Journeyman license or equivalent certification as specified by state. Unlicensed plumbers must obtain certification as soon as eligible.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills for effective customer service; strong interpersonal skills in client and co-worker relations.
