Patio Enclosures by Great Day Improvements provides a pay range of $17.00/hr – $22.00/hr your actual pay will be based on skills and experience.

The Installer will be responsible for site prep work, simple carpentry work, and the installation of all GDI product lines. The Installer may assist with the training, planning, assigning, and directing of work for the Apprentice according to GDI policies.

Advancement to Installer may be offered as openings are available, based on overall job knowledge, skill level, quality performance, adherence to company policies, safety, and attendance.

• Represent the company and manage crew behavior; evaluated on customer feedback and online reviews.
• Review work jacket with supervisor.
• Verify accuracy of breakout in accordance with customer contract.
• Perform site prep, including modifications to existing structures.
• Handle carpentry work: deck modifications, dormer installation, overhang cutoffs, wood knee wall builds, wall alterations, floor and ridge plates, finish carpentry.
• Build simple and complex decks; demolitions.
• Layout and cut all materials for job installation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe work site.
• Install All View, Comfort View, Solarium products.
• Complete basic carpentry duties such as dormer attachment, fascia removal, standard fascia attachment, etc.
• Perform service work.
• Collect necessary stage payments from customer when applicable.
• Setup, take down, repair displays for marketing events.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Installer must complete the Apprentice Development Program and have a minimum of 3–6 months of in-field training prior to promotion.

• Post-installation customer service survey with a top score of 90% or better.
• Maintain online reviews – 10% of jobs installed.
• Ensure crew efficiency per GDI guidelines.
