Youth Soccer Instructors Needed for Children Ages 2-8 in the Greater Indianapolis Area (Boone, Hamilton, Hendricks, Johnson, Marion Counties) & West Lafayette/Lafayette.

Soccer Shots is the #1 Children’s Fitness franchise in the country. We hire instructors who are passionate about working with children and who can deliver our program with energy and care. Our goal is to make the 30-minute Soccer Shots sessions the best 30 minutes of each child’s week by helping them build confidence on and off the field.

We are hiring part-time coaches with afternoon and evening availability. Our programs run in daycares, preschools, and community centers.

• Lead Soccer Shots sessions (approximately 30 minutes) for groups of children aged 2-8 at partner locations.
• Engage and manage groups, communicate effectively with Soccer Shots director of coaching, and ensure accurate attendance.
• Maintain consistent schedules at the same locations and times each week for the season.
• Foster a positive, energetic, and inclusive environment for all participants.

Part-time coaches should be available three full days a week, Monday-Friday, with afternoon classes running roughly 2:00-5:00pm and evening classes roughly 4:30-7:30pm. There are multiple classes at many locations. Some Park Programs may launch in the evenings. Scheduling is flexible to accommodate availability, but once set, it won’t change during the season.

Starting pay is $17 per session (approx. $34/hour), with room for growth at the hourly rate or into a salaried position with increased pay. At most locations, you may instruct 2-4 consecutive sessions (earning roughly $34-$70 for an hour or two of coaching).

• Must be able to commit to at least the next 3-4 seasons (9-12 months); ideal candidates are seeking long-term employment (12 months) with growth opportunities.
• Responsible: Arrives on time, can handle groups of 10 or more children, keeps accurate attendance, communicates well with Soccer Shots director of coaching, etc.
• Professional: Neat appearance, friendly and courteous with daycare staff/directors and parents.
• Enthusiastic: Enjoys interacting with young children (2–8 years old), able to connect with them on their level, and can be outgoing and animated.
• Soccer: Soccer experience is helpful; strong ability to engage with children and handle class activities.
• Working with children: Must be able to engage and interact with 2-8 year olds; experience is important.
• Transportation: Must have reliable personal transportation.
• Equipment: Must own and have daily access to a computer, printer, and internet.
