Overview

Youth Soccer Instructors Needed for Children Ages 2-8 in the Greater Indianapolis Area (Boone, Hamilton, Hendricks, Johnson, Marion Counties) & West Lafayette/Lafayette. Soccer Shots is the #1 Children’s Fitness franchise in the country; we hire instructors who are passionate about working with children and can deliver engaging, confidence-building sessions.

We operate in daycares, preschools, community centers, etc. This is a part-time coaching role with afternoon and evening availability. Starting pay is $17 per session (approx. $34/hr), with room for growth at the hourly rate or into a salaried position with increased pay. At most locations, there are multiple classes, meaning coaching 2-4 consecutive sessions per location.

• Deliver high-energy 30-minute Soccer Shots sessions to groups of children aged 2-8.

• Manage class groups (up to 12 children at a time) with a focus on safety, engagement, and positive interaction.

• Consistently arrive on time and maintain attendance records.

• Work at consistent locations and times each week for the full season.

• Must be able to commit to at least the next 3-4 seasons (9-12 months) and ideally longer-term employment with growth opportunities.
• Responsible: punctual, able to handle groups of 10 or more children, maintain accurate attendance, and communicate effectively with Soccer Shots leadership.
• Professional: neat appearance, friendly and courteous with day care staff, directors, and parents.
• Enthusiastic: enjoy interacting with young children and connect with them on their level; outgoing and animated; able to be silly when appropriate.
• Soccer: basic soccer experience helpful; strong willingness to learn and teach the game to young children.
• Experience with children: proven ability to engage and interact with 2-8 year olds.
• Transportation: own reliable transportation.
• Equipment: access to a computer, printer, and internet.
