Hospitalist Physician

Overview

Part-Time Hospitalist Physician Position in Fitchburg, MA with National Wound Physician Group. Clinical satisfaction, autonomy and flexibility, work-life balance.

• Provide bedside wound care in facilities across 3,200 locations in 28 states.
• Receive physician-level wound management training and a wound fellowship for clinical excellence.
• Deliver modern wound management at the bedside in post-acute care settings (Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals).
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Maintain a mobile practice visiting facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location.
• Visit 2–3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20–30 patients per day.
• Record clinical documentation at the point of care during rounds using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state of practice.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
• W2 employment contract (no visa sponsorship).

• Full-time work:
  Monday – Friday (7am–4pm) or part-time available.
• No call / No weekend clinical responsibilities.
• This is a mobile practice with on-site wound care in post-acute care facilities.
