We’re looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join an established manufacturing organization in Fitchburg, MA
. This position will focus on designing and developing electro-mechanical products
, taking mechanical components from initial concept and prototyping through testing and production.

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for electro-mechanical products.
• Create and update 2D/3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and specifications
  .
• Build prototypes, conduct testing, analyze results, and improve product designs.
• Apply GD&T and ASME Y14.5 standards to engineering drawings.
• Select materials and components based on performance, durability, manufacturability, and cost.
• Maintain BOMs, engineering change orders (ECOs), and technical documentation
  .
• Partner with manufacturing and quality teams to resolve production and design issues.
• Support tooling, fixtures, design improvements, and manufacturing optimization.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field
  .
• 3+ years of mechanical engineering or product design experience.
• Strong proficiency with 2D and 3D CAD software
  .
• Experience taking mechanical components from design through production
  .
• Solid understanding of engineering drawings, tolerances, GD&T, and manufacturing processes
  .
