DDS Residential Counselor - Fisher Road at Open Sky Community Services
Open Sky supports adults with developmental and intellectual challenges referred by the Department of Developmental Services. Our mission is to provide safe, nurturing homes that address each individual's personal needs and preferences. Every resident is encouraged to play an active role in community life through volunteering, classes, group outings, or health club participation. Our dedicated staff ensures individuals have the necessary supports and skills to build a successful life in the community while enabling them to lead meaningful and active lives.
Salary USD $20.00/Hr.
Responsibilities
- Support individuals diagnosed with a developmental disability to live as independently as possible within a group living environment.
- Provide guidance, support, and perform various levels of activities of daily living.
- Implement procedures that ensure the health, safety, and well‑being of individuals and maintain cleanliness and safety of the physical site.
- Assist individuals with accessing and/or providing transportation.
- Assist in developing individualized, person‑centered treatment plans and play a lead role in daily implementation plans.
- Review and complete all required documentation.
- Advocate for individuals served, promote community integration, and support evidence‑based treatment and care.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent, required.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record, required.
- Reliability, willingness to learn, and openness to new opportunities.
