Radiation Therapist , Radiation Oncology Fitchburg

Position: Radiation Therapist I, Radiation Oncology Fitchburg, 40 Hours, Days
Major Responsibilities:
2. Administers radiation therapy treatments observing radiation safety measures for patients and personnel.  Transfers patient safety to treatment table, giving special care to catheters, I.V.’s, and the like.

Qualifications:

License/Certification/

Education:

1. Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiation Therapy.  
3. Must possess a valid Massachusetts license in Radiation Therapy.  Graduate of CAHEA-approved Radiation Therapy Technology Program.

Experience/

Skills:

1. Demonstrated clinical knowledge.  
3. Excellent customer service skills and ability to work cooperatively with all members of the healthcare team. Unless certification, licensure or registration is required, an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed in this description may be substituted for the above requirements.
