Shipping Associate II

Position Overview

The Shipping Associate II role supports the manufacturing and delivery of our products from our New England Keyboard/Nelson Miller Group facility in Fitchburg, Massachusetts.

• Arrive on time daily and comply with company attendance policy.
• Set up the shipping department and coordinate daily activities.
• Ensure all shipments for the current day are completed before the end of day and do not carry over.
• Coordinate with office personnel for proper invoicing and provide packing receipts to Accounting.
• Prepare and maintain shipping paperwork.
• Keep inventory of shipping supplies and reorder as needed.
• Maintain effective communication with the Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse Manager, and other department leaders.
• Complete all required timesheets, work orders, and sales orders daily.
• Assist Material Handling as needed or assigned.
• Act as backup to Material Handling as required.
• Maintain ITAR compliance as instructed.
• Follow all ERP procedures related to shipping and packaging.
• Support quality policies, procedures, and work instructions, promoting maximum safety standards.
• Perform any other duties as requested or assigned.

• Experience in warehousing and inventory control; familiarity with hand truck operation. Forklift and pallet jack operation are a plus.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently under standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Strong commitment to safety and quality, including ISO
  9000 standards and ITAR regulations.
• Physical capability to lift, bend, stoop, stand, and reach frequently; lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident Alien, or Protected Individual per 8 U.S.C.1324b(a)(3).
• Candidate must pass a pre‑employment background check.

Pay Range: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour, based on experience, skills, and market data.
