Key ResponsibilitiesPerform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on company vehicles and equipment including trucks, mowers, loaders, and excavators.
Conduct routine preventative services such as oil changes, tire/brake work, and lubrication.
Inspect components, identify issues, and complete necessary repairs to maintain safety and performance standards.
Use diagnostic software/tools to troubleshoot gas and diesel engine issues.
Replace worn or defective parts as needed across multiple asset types.
Maintain service records using shop management systems and electronic tracking tools.
Communicate effectively with drivers, operators, and managers regarding maintenance needs and service updates.
Support facility maintenance duties and assist with general operational needs when required.
Comply with DOT, IFTA, OSHA, and company safety policies and procedures.
Prepare maintenance reports and documentation as needed.
QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.
2+ years of hands‑on experience in mechanical maintenance and repair.
Technical/vocational training or relevant certifications strongly preferred.
Experience with gas and diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and fleet service routines.
Familiarity with diagnostic tools and electronic maintenance tracking software.
Valid Driver’s License required.
Ability to pass a DOT physical and work in physically demanding conditions (lifting 50+ lbs, kneeling, climbing, etc.).
Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.

Full‑Time
Monday–Friday
Weekend availability may be required based on operational needs.
Work LocationBased in Fitchburg, MA
This role supports on‑site operations and equipment across various project sites—must be comfortable working in a dynamic field environment with some local travel.
