Responsibilities:
- I will design and implement robust data architectures using Snowflake technologies to support our business objectives.
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Developing and optimizing Snowflake SQL queries for efficient data processing and retrieval will be part of your role.
- You will implement and manage Snowflake Tasks and Streams to automate data workflows and ensure data integrity.
- Utilizing Snowpipe for real-time data ingestion to guarantee timely and accurate data availability will be essential.
- Monitoring and troubleshooting data pipelines to sustain system performance and reliability will be required.
- You will provide technical guidance and support to team members regarding Snowflake best practices and usage.
- Conducting regular reviews of data architecture to identify improvement areas and implement necessary changes will be part of your responsibilities.
- You will ensure compliance with data governance and security policies in all data-related activities.
- Staying updated with the latest Snowflake features and industry trends to continuously improve data solutions will be important.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to define data strategies that align with business goals and promote innovation is expected.
- Documenting data architecture designs and processes for future reference and knowledge sharing will be necessary.
- You will contribute to our mission by enabling data-driven decision-making and enhancing operational efficiency.

We are looking for a highly skilled lead with 8 years of experience to join our team in a hybrid work model. This role requires proficiency in English for reading, writing, and speaking. You will play a crucial part in designing and implementing data solutions that align with our companys goals and significantly impact our operations. Please note that this role cannot offer visa transfer or sponsorship, now or in the future.
The annual salary for this position ranges from $85,000 to $130,000, depending on experience and qualifications. This position is also eligible for our discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and in accordance with our applicable plans. Cognizant offers various benefits for this position, subject to eligibility requirements, including medical/dental/vision/life insurance, paid holidays plus paid time off, a 401(k) plan with contributions, long-term/short-term disability, paid parental leave, and an employee stock purchase plan.
