Position: 1st Shift Warehouse Supervisor – Shipping (Verona Road Location)

Schedule:

Sunday – Thursday, 6:30am – 3:30pm, Full‑time.

• Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff to maintain productivity and accuracy in daily shipping operations.
• Oversee order fulfillment and loading to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
• Train, coach, and mentor team members to foster a culture of accountability and safety.
• Monitor workflow and staffing levels, identify challenges, and implement improvements for continuous success.
• Collaborate with other departments and shifts to ensure seamless warehouse operations and customer satisfaction.

• Oversee and regulate all warehouse functions, fostering a highly productive environment.
• Mentor and develop team members through hands‑on training and coaching.
• Provide instruction and evaluations for equipment operators.
• Uphold safety standards and maintain a secure working environment for all employees.
• Handle employee relations, including initiating appropriate disciplinary actions when necessary.
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, striving for 100% customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.
• Communicate critical production details to the Director of Warehousing and fellow shift leaders to ensure seamless operations.
• Execute additional tasks and duties as assigned by the Director of Warehousing.
• Maintain regular attendance and comply with the Company Attendance Policy.

• High school graduate or equivalent with excellent math skills.
• Minimum 3 years of related experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Experience working with powered industrial equipment.
• Preferred:
  Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience.
• Preferred: D.O.T. and logistics experience.
• Ability to identify operational issues and recommend, implement strategies to resolve problems.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships within a team.

• Knowledge of warehouse shipping and receiving functions.
• Knowledge of and skill in using computer software, including Microsoft Office suite.
• Skill in operating various office equipment such as personal computer, calculator, fax, and copy machine.
• Attention to detail and ability to coordinate various activities simultaneously.
• Excellent communication with customers, co‑workers, and business contacts in a courteous and professional manner.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
