ALL ABOUT STYLE. A team of consultants who meet guests where they are and deliver through strong operations, guest experience, and visual merchandising that inspires and drives the basket. A Style Consultant is passionate about operations and guest experience, providing in-store presentations that enable quick and easy self-discovery. You will welcome guests on the sales floor and in the fitting room, ensure the floor is fully stocked, accurately priced, and signed with the right sizes, styles, and colors.

• Drive sales and maintain a guest-ready floor by executing visual standards, promotional signage, and staying knowledgeable on assortment and brand offerings to assist guests as needed.
• Use store tools to understand sales, inventory ownership, and guest needs.
• Sort and push freight to the sales floor; locate merchandise in the backroom as needed.
• Set visual presentations and merchandising guides to support the guest experience and sales.
• Maintain product availability and a full floor by prioritizing fills and merchandising to capacity.
• Execute backroom organization to support replenishment and guest requests.
• Remerchandise presentations as items sell through to deliver an inspiring shopping experience.
• Support price changes and clearance merchandising with proper signing.
• Maintain and use fitting rooms to welcome, inspire, and help guests.
• Support fulfillment and guest needs by moving items from fitting rooms back to the sales floor.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup (OPU) and Drive-up (DU), while complying with applicable laws.
• Create a welcoming guest experience by greeting guests during daily tasks and assisting with their needs; thank guests for shopping at Target.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• You enjoy interacting with guests and helping others, including fellow team members.
• You thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment with teamwork, flexibility, and problem solving.
• You are open to flexible schedules (varying hours/days/shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times).

The Good News — We have training to teach you what you need to be a Style Consultant. Basic prior skills include:

• Strong interest and knowledge of apparel products and accessories
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
• Ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology
• Effective communication skills; ability to work independently and with a team
• Ability to resolve guest questions quickly and stay focused in a fast-paced environment

Additional Basics We Expect

• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
• Climb ladders as required
• Move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 15 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable attendance
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions; drive-up or carryout duties as needed
• Remain mobile for the duration of a shift
