Job Description: Qualified candidates will be state licensed paramedics with current Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support certification and a valid Georgia Driver’s License. Shifts are 12 hours from 10AM to 10PM seven days a week. Flexible shifts are available as we are building our team at Dorminy and are looking to fill several slots. We offer advanced and basic life support transport, emergency and non-emergency transport, and inter-facility transport.

Minimal Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Valid driver’s license in the State of Georgia
• Licensed Paramedic in the State of Georgia
• Current AHA CPR & ACLS certification

Job Requirements:

• Ability to think and work effectively under stress with frequent interruptions; to move, sit, stand, walk, and bend intermittently throughout the workday, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Must possess sight and hearing senses or use prosthetics that enable these senses to function adequately to meet the requirements of this position.
• Use of mechanical and technical equipment required for the responsibilities assigned.
• External and internal applicants who become disabled must be able to perform the essential job functions either unaided or with the assistance of a reasonable accommodation, to be determined on a case-by-case basis.
• Position has a moderate expected exposure to blood borne pathogens.
• Pass Dorminy Medical Medicine test.
