Performs diagnostic tests of the cardiovascular and pulmonary systems to aid physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of heart and lung disorders. Maintains performance improvement activities within the department and participates in CQI activities.
Job Requirements- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
- Graduate of AMA approved Respiratory Program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Advanced Life Support (NALS/NRP) to be obtained within 2 months of hire
- Clinical evaluation and assessment skills are required for all age groups, including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
- One year supervisory experience preferred but not required
Extensive experience in all areas of Respiratory Care, including diagnostic testing, therapeutics, monitoring, rehabilitation, home care, and patient, family, and public education.
