Provide advanced and basic life support transport, including emergency and non-emergency transport, as well as inter-facility transport. Qualified candidates must be state-licensed EMTs with current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) certifications, and a valid Georgia Driver’s License.

The primary responsibility is delivering pre-hospital emergency medical care to the citizens of Ben-Hill County, encompassing both emergency and non-emergency situations. Secondary responsibilities include assisting with emergency and non-emergency patient care within the hospital. The EMT is an employee of Dorminy Medical Center and must adhere to the facility's policies and procedures. The EMT reports to the EMS director, or in their absence, to the Assistant EMS Director.

For on-scene patient care, the EMT reports to the Paramedic in charge.

• State-licensed EMT with current BLS and ALS certifications
• Valid Georgia Driver’s License
• Flexible shifts available; multiple positions to be filled as the team expands
• Experience:
  
  At least 1 year as an EMT

Minimal Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Valid Georgia driver’s license
• EMT license in Georgia
• Current AHA CPR & ACLS certifications
