Job Description:

The Director of Student Success will direct and oversee and implement the division work plan, assigned work, activities and projects to including developing, planning, implementing and administering division goals and budgets; coordinating division activities with other divisions, departments and outside agencies; recommending and developing division policy procedures; conferring with and providing leadership to division personnel; assisting and advising high level TCSG staff;

developing or participating in writing specifications for equipment, systems or services; creating requests for proposals and negotiating contract/ vendor proposals; establishing and overseeing an organizational and process structure that provides a quality service and delivery for internal and external clients; reviewing and evaluating projects in progress, contract compliance, and quality control; conducting presentations and briefings; participating in community events promoting Wiregrass and the Technical College System of Georgia;

monitoring the activities of personnel to ensure compliance with TCSG policy manual and department procedures; and coordinating and maintaining New Student Orientation efforts over all campuses.

May have other duties as assigned.

SUMMARY OF WORKING CONDITIONS Equipment Used:
Standard office equipment, Regular use of college owned or personal vehicle for performance of duties.

Working Conditions:

Category III - No foreseen exposure to hazardous chemicals/pathogens. Probability of working beyond the normal shift, but not frequently. Periodic travel between major Wiregrass campuses and satellite sites.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION SA Bachelor’s degree (or higher) from an academic institution accredited by an institutional accrediting agency recognized by the United States Department of Education in educational leadership, vocational administration, counseling, or a closely related field
