A busy tax and accounting office in Flagstaff, Arizona, is seeking an experienced, full-time Tax Preparer. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing individual and corporate tax returns, strong client communication skills, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare individual and corporate tax returns in person.
- Work directly with clients to gather financial and personal information related to deductions, grants, allowances, investments, real estate, and other tax-related matters.
- Research complex tax situations and consult senior preparers when necessary.
- Attend continuing education courses to stay current with tax laws and regulations.
- Previous experience preparing individual and corporate tax returns.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to prioritize daily tasks and meet client deadlines.
- Professional demeanor and strong teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work additional evening and weekend hours as needed.
