PAY RANGES:
Tax preparer with no credentials, they start at $21/hr.
Enrolled Agent, they start at $25/hr.
CPA
, the range is $32-$40/hr.
Requirements:
Minimum 1 full year of experience with tax preparation. Flexible to work additional hours at night and on weekends as necessary. Compensation will reflect experience and knowledge. Excellent customer service, organizational and computer skills required. Must be a team player and present themselves in a professional manner. Ability to positively and proactively manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
Skilled using tax preparation software and able to properly research and seek the advice of senior preparers when confronted with particularly challenging tax circumstances. Able to work closely with clients to obtain important paperwork and documentation needed to complete tax forms properly.
