We are currently seeking an experienced Orthopedic Physician for a locum tenens opportunity near Flagstaff, AZ. This is a great chance to work in a hospital setting with 24-hour on-call coverage and flexible scheduling options. • Position:
  Orthopedic Physician (Locums)
• Location:
  Near Flagstaff, AZ
• Schedule:
  • 24-hour on-call coverage
  • 5-day blocks, 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM
  • 1 week of coverage per month
• Patient Load:
  • Average of 1-3 cases per day
  • 2 surgical cases per day
  • 6 new consults daily
  • Minimal night coverage needs, especially after 10 PM
• Practice Setting:
  • Hospital-based
  • Level 4 Trauma
  • Full APP support during the day
  • Call-in APP support at night for first assist
• Procedures:
  • B&B cases
  • Experience with pelvic and acetabular fractures preferred but not required
  • Pediatric cases preferred but not required

• Board Certification: BC/BE in Orthopedic Surgery
• State Licenses:
  Arizona (IMLC accepted, willing to license)
• Certifications:
  • BLS required
  • ACLS preferred
  • ATLS required
• EMR System:
  Cerner experience preferred
• Vaccination Requirements:
  • COVID-19 vaccination required (exemptions allowed)
  • Flu vaccination required (exemptions allowed)
