About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Project Engineeror Project Manager with a strong background in heavy civil construction, focusing on underground utilities, pump stations, sewer, wastewater systems, pipelines and earthwork, roadways projects in Arizona.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Project Manager and field leadership to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
- Coordinate daily activities with superintendents and foremen, including materials, subcontractors, equipment, and quality control.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA standards.
- Manage scope changes, assist with scheduling, and process change orders.
- Support project planning, definition, scope, resource allocation, and scheduling.
- Prepare and coordinate essential plans such as traffic control, erosion control, safety, and equipment mobilization.
- Communicate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure timely, high-quality execution.
- Utilize Viewpoint for project documentation, cost tracking, and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in heavy civil construction (earthwork, underground utilities, highways, or structures, roadways).
- Project controls, alternative delivery projects are welcome too.
- Proficiency in Viewpoint preferred.
- Experience with Alternative Delivery plus.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-starter who works well independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.
