About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Project Engineeror Project Manager with a strong background in heavy civil construction, focusing on underground utilities, pump stations, sewer, wastewater systems, pipelines and earthwork, roadways projects in Arizona.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager and field leadership to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Coordinate daily activities with superintendents and foremen, including materials, subcontractors, equipment, and quality control.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA standards.
• Manage scope changes, assist with scheduling, and process change orders.
• Support project planning, definition, scope, resource allocation, and scheduling.
• Prepare and coordinate essential plans such as traffic control, erosion control, safety, and equipment mobilization.
• Communicate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure timely, high-quality execution.
• Utilize Viewpoint for project documentation, cost tracking, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in heavy civil construction (earthwork, underground utilities, highways, or structures, roadways).
• Project controls, alternative delivery projects are welcome too.
• Proficiency in Viewpoint preferred.
• Experience with Alternative Delivery plus.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter who works well independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.
