Quality Assurance Nurse (RN or LPN) – Long-Term Care / Veterans Community

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shift (7a–3p, 8a–4p, or 8a–5p)
Pay: RN – $63/hr | LPN – $44/hr

A respected state-affiliated long-term care facility in Flagstaff is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Nurse (RN or LPN) to lead infection prevention, staff education and regulatory compliance efforts. • Implement facility-wide QA and Infection Control programs.
• Conduct audits, track metrics and develop QAPI (Quality Assurance Performance Improvement) plans.
• Chair QA and Infection Control Committee meetings.
• Analyze CASPER reports, identify trends and coordinate improvement actions.
• Support survey readiness and compliance documentation.
• Investigate incidents of non-compliance and assist with corrective plans.
• Design and deliver training programs for staff education and regulatory compliance.
• Track infection trends using McGeer criteria; conduct daily surveillance rounds.
• Maintain records to ensure staff competency and compliance.

• Current Arizona RN or LPN license (required).
• Current BLS certification and TB test results (required).
• Experience in QA, infection control or LTC settings preferred.
