You’ll spend a lot of time serving as a master‑level auto tech performing heavy‑duty work and providing direction, guidance and technical expertise to shop personnel. Other responsibilities include:

• Performing the responsibilities of a level 1‑level 3 auto tech.
• Performing a wide range of repairs – brakes, drivability, steering, suspension, electrical, safety inspections, AC and major engine.
• Advanced diagnostics and complete repairs.
• Working with individual techs as required to assess specific vehicle needs.
• Providing guidance or training to associates in supporting roles or less experienced associates.
• Performing quality control checks on all work; notifying supervisor of unsatisfactory work.
• Ensuring auto maintenance SOPs and activities align with desired outcomes.
• Identifying developmental opportunities in staff.
• Monitoring workflow processes and recommending productivity improvements.
• Alerting management about patterns, trends and difficult issues.
• Modeling safety behaviors and ensuring techs comply with all health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Training and instructing new and current employees on job functions/tasks when needed.
• Providing technical expertise, effective guidance and coaching to other shop employees.

From a flat tire to a thrown rod, you know how to fix it. Your skills extend beyond mechanical work; you’re also a great communicator who can inspire others. You have the following qualifications:

• Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.
• ASE

  A1–A8 required.
• 5+ years of automotive service and repair experience.
• The ability to drive standard, automatic, and electric vehicles.

• High school diploma or GED.

Hourly base pay rate is $26.06 – $39.04/hour. The rate may vary within the anticipated range based on location and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave. Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship.
