We're looking for a Fleet, Plant & Waste Administrator to join our Supply Chain team, supporting the effective management of our

fleet, plant and waste operations. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator to play a key role in

maintaining vehicle and plant compliance, coordinating waste management activities, and ensuring accurate operational records are

maintained across the business. You'll work closely with operational teams, suppliers, workshops, leasing providers and compliance

colleagues to support safe, efficient and cost-effective service delivery.

Based at our Sutton Fold Office, this is a fully office-based role working Monday to Friday. You'll play an integral role in

supporting the day-to-day administration of fleet, plant and waste services, helping to ensure our operations remain compliant,

efficient and responsive to business needs. Travel to our other offices may be required in line with business needs.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Act as the central administrative contact for fleet, plant and waste operations, providing day-to-day support across the Supply Chain team.
  • Manage fleet compliance, ensuring MOTs, servicing, insurance, taxation and vehicle records are maintained accurately and on time.
  • Coordinate vehicle repairs, breakdowns, inspections and maintenance activities to minimise disruption and keep services running smoothly.
  • Organise plant and equipment bookings, external hires and PAT testing programmes, ensuring all equipment is safe, compliant and available when needed.
  • Support waste management activities by coordinating collections, maintaining compliance documentation and ensuring accurate
  • Administer driver compliance processes, including licence checks, training records and policy acknowledgements.
  • Maintain accurate, audit-ready records across fleet, plant and waste operations, supporting compliance, reporting and
  • Produce operational reports and performance data to support effective decision-making and service delivery.
  • Build strong working relationships with suppliers, workshops, leasing providers, contractors and internal teams to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.
  • Support procurement, purchase order processing, invoicing and audit activities in line with company procedures and financial controls.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience in an administrative role within a fleet, logistics, plant, waste, construction, housing maintenance or similar operational environment.
  • Strong organisational, administrative and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain accurate records.
  • Experience supporting compliance processes, audits and operational reporting, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office and business systems, with the ability to analyse information and produce reports.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, suppliers and contractors.
  • Experience supporting procurement, purchase orders and invoicing processes, with good commercial and financial awareness.
  • A proactive and flexible approach, taking ownership of workloads and adapting to changing business needs.
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) and an NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • A full UK driving licence and the ability to travel to other locations when required.
