Accounts Assistant - Part Time

Are you an experienced finance professional with a background in cashiering, banking operations, treasury administration or finance operations?
We're recruiting for a Cashiering & Controls Officer to join a well-established organisation in Fleet. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with financial controls, cash management and reconciliations in a fast-paced and supportive environment.
What You'll Be Doing
✅ Processing and allocating daily cash receipts ✅ Managing bank transactions and maintaining accurate cash records ✅ Performing daily, weekly and monthly bank reconciliations ✅ Investigating and resolving cash allocation discrepancies ✅ Producing cash and banking reports ✅ Maintaining robust financial controls and compliance procedures ✅ Supporting the finance team with month-end activities ✅ Identifying opportunities to improve processes and controls
What We're Looking For
✔ Previous experience in Cashiering, Treasury, Accounts Receivable or Finance Operations ✔ Knowledge of cash allocation and bank reconciliations ✔ Strong attention to detail and accuracy ✔ Excellent numerical and analytical skills ✔ Good Excel and finance systems experience ✔ Strong communication and organisational skills ✔ Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines
Desirable
➕ AAT qualified or studying towards an accounting qualification

➕ Experience with in a high-volume transactional finance environment ➕ ERP or finance systems experience
