£29,000 - £35,000 DOE + BONUS + COMPANY VEHICLE | OTE £50,000

TAKE OWNERSHIP OF A BUSY VEHICLE HIRE BRANCH

We are a small, independent and growing car and van hire company looking for an experienced, hands-on Branch/Rental Fleet Managerto  take ownership of the day-to-day operation of our busy hire branch. This is not a desk-only role. You'll be involved across the business, from customer service and bookings to fleet management, vehicle availability and team leadership.

You'll have the autonomy to make the branch your own, introduce new ideas, improve operations and play a key role in growing the business. You'll also be responsible for building your branch support team, either by bringing an experienced Hire Assistant with you or recruiting and onboarding the right person.

Run the day-to-day branch operation and maintain high standards.

Manage bookings, vehicle collections and returns.

Oversee vehicle inspections, damage reports, servicing, MOTs and repairs.

Minimise vehicle downtime and help control fleet costs.

Deliver excellent customer service and build repeat local business.

Drive branch revenue, profitability and performance.

Previous car or van hire experience is essential.

Supervisory or management experience.

Strong customer service and people-management skills.

Organised, reliable and confident working independently.

Practical, hands-on attitude with strong administration skills.

Full UK driving licence.

Monday
- Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

Includes occasional Saturdays and longer hours during busy periods
