Based at our Peterhead site, the Rental Fleet Technician is responsible for the mobilisation and demobilisation of equipment, as well as its operation in line with specific client project requirements. The position also involves supporting workshop technicians with repairs and servicing of Motive’s rental fleet. A key aspect of the role is preparing equipment to a high standard, including cleaning and painting.

The role also includes carrying out forklift operations. The Rental Fleet Technician must also ensure that all tasks are carried out in compliance with relevant Health, Safety, and Quality standards, while maintaining a high level of general housekeeping.

As part of our European Rentals team in Peterhead, you’ll benefit from being in a busy, hands‑on role. Supporting some of the biggest projects that we work on around the globe and working alongside a highly skilled workshop team, on a varied range of projects, your expertise plays a key part in keeping rental equipment safe, compliant, and ready for use, every time.

As a part of our European Rentals team, you’ll become part of a small, hardworking, and skilled team who are used to working to a high standard and specification. You will be supported by John Davidson, Operations Manager - Rentals, and work alongside a team, whose goal, much like your own, will be to enable a quick and safe turn‑around of equipment.
