Pulman Fleet is growing, and we are looking for a driven and ambitious National Business Development Manager to join our successful Fleet team. At Pulman we are a people‑first business keen to speak to anyone who can support the growth of our Fleet Department with relevant skills and experience. Your role can be developed around you.
This is an exciting opportunity for a tenacious and self‑motivated sales professional with automotive fleet or leasing experience to develop new national business opportunities and build long‑term relationships with Corporate and Key Account customers as well as Leasing Companies.
You will be responsible for generating new business through proactive outbound activity, networking, and client meetings while promoting the full capabilities of Pulman Fleet.
Working with our core brands – Volkswagen, SKODA, CUPRA and SEAT – you will have access to all makes and models through our broker operation, National Vehicle Solutions, allowing you to offer flexible fleet solutions supported by a range of funding options.
This role offers strong earning potential with uncapped commission and OTE of £55,000 – £65,000+, rewarding high performance and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new national fleet opportunities with Corporate and Key Account customers and Leasing companies
- Generate business through proactive outbound sales activity and appointment setting
- Promote Pulman Fleet’s core brands:
Volkswagen, SKODA, CUPRA and SEAT - Provide competitive fleet solutions including contract hire and funding options
- Utilise National Vehicle Solutions to offer customers access to all makes and models
- Build strong relationships with fleet decision makers and procurement teams
- Manage your own sales pipeline and activity levels to achieve targets
- Work closely with the wider Fleet team to ensure a fantastic customer experience
About You
- Previous automotive fleet or leasing industry experience is essential
- Proven business development and new business generation ability
- Highly driven, self‑motivated and target focused
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Ability to manage your own pipeline and sales performance
