This role is based in our B&Q operation in Swindon and works closely with the Transport Manager and Assistant Transport Manager to support all aspects of fleet and driver compliance, ensuring we meet O-Licence requirements, internal audit standards and GXO’s safety commitments.

Responsibilities
  • Support transport compliance activity, ensuring full adherence to O-Licence and company standards
  • Oversee fleet maintenance records, servicing, MOTs and defect management
  • Liaise with service providers to arrange and track vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Manage tachograph compliance, including downloads, infringements, missing mileage and driver data
  • Maintain accurate fleet, driver and licence records across GXO systems, complete weekly and monthly compliance audits and quality checks
  • Produce and maintain transport metrics, compliance dashboards and performance reports
  • Act as a key point of contact for drivers, transport teams, planners and QHSE colleagues
Qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage data accurately
  • Good understanding of transport compliance, driver hours or fleet processes
  • Confident using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders
  • A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach
Employment details

The role is a full-time, permanent position with standard hours Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:00. Salary up to £30,000 per annum.
