General Manager of Fleet – Leading UK Transport & Logistics Operator. Package: £95,000 - £105,000 total reward. 10% performance-related bonus. £11,500 car allowance. Senior employee benefits.

Lead the future of fleet at a major UK transport operator.

Reporting to the Fleet Director, the General Manager of Fleet will lead the fleet function at a national level, ensuring vehicles and trailers operate safely, compliantly, and efficiently, while delivering the lowest total cost of ownership across the asset lifecycle.

You are a commercially minded fleet leader with strong technical credibility and the confidence to operate at senior level.

Essential:

• Qualified in HGV Repair and Maintenance
• Transport Manager CPC
• Strong knowledge of UK transport legislation, compliance, and safety standards
• Commercial and financial acumen
• Proven ability to develop and deliver fleet strategies and budgets
• Experience leading and engaging teams
• Track record of delivering service and cost improvements
• Willingness to travel nationally, with occasional overnight stays
