Day-Shift HGV Class 2 Driver — Modern

We are now recruiting reliable HGV Class 2 (C) Multi-Drop Drivers for day shift roles in Hillingdon. As a Class 2 Driver, your duties will mirror those of our Class 1 drivers, delivering palletised freight throughout the Central Belt and maintaining the high standards Burns Express is known for:

• Delivering palletised freight safely and legally
• Completing daily vehicle checks and logging defects via app
• Following safety policies and procedures
• Completing and returning all required paperwork
• Using the company PDA for route and delivery information

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• A valid Class 2 (C) licence with at least 2 years’ experience
• No more than 6 penalty points (no DR or DD offences)
• Driver Qualification Card (DQC) and Digital Tachograph Card
• Excellent communication skills and flexibility
• Experience in a multi-drop logistics environment (preferred but not essential)
