To supervise and support the delivery of a safe, efficient and customer-focused passenger transport service. The role involves managing daily transport operations, supporting drivers and escorts, monitoring service quality, ensuring vehicle and passenger safety, and helping improve transport services.

• Coordinate daily transport operations and driver schedules.
• Monitor routes, vehicles and service delivery.
• Support drivers and escorts with any issues.
• Respond to enquiries from passengers, families, schools and services.
• Check vehicle safety and compliance.
• Record incidents, complaints and updates.
• Maintain transport records and reports.
• Work with council teams and contractors.

• Transport supervision and team support.
• Route planning and monitoring.
• Customer service and communication.
• Health and safety awareness.
• Safeguarding and passenger care.
• Vehicle compliance checks.
• Incident reporting.
• Record keeping and IT skills.
• Supporting service improvements.

• Experience in passenger transport, fleet operations or a supervisory role.
• Experience supporting staff and daily operations.
• Good knowledge of health and safety and safeguarding.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Good IT skills (Word, Excel and email).
• Ability to manage a busy workload.
• Flexible working availability.
• Passenger Transport Supervisor Certificate or equivalent (desirable).
