Location: 116 Main Street, Flemington, NJ

Hours: As needed, not to exceed 8 hours a day

Pay: $17.28–$19.59 per hour

We depend on every team member to keep our centers functioning smoothly. In this role you will gain diverse experience working with an at‑risk population, supporting classroom staff to provide a safe, clean, and healthy learning environment for children and staff.

• Assist classroom staff in maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy environment for children and staff.
• Support classroom activities and lesson implementation.
• Promote positive child interactions and development.
• Assist with daily routines and caregiving tasks.

• Minimum Education Level: High school diploma; working toward a Child Development Associate (CDA) certification to be completed within two years of hire.
• Preferred Education Level: CDA or a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or a related field.
• Experience: Working with young children.
• Preferred Experience: 2 years in early childhood education with direct experience with at‑risk populations and Head Start experience.
• Personal Characteristics: Compassionate, organized, flexible, communicative, team‑player.
• Physical Abilities: Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
