Location:

Hunterdon Health, 500 Wescott Drive, Flemington, NJ.

Job Type: Full-time. Shift: Monday‑Friday, Days/Evenings.

Pay Range: $19.00 – $23.75 per hour.

Position Summary: Work with a team of teachers, assistant teachers, teacher aides and volunteers to foster a safe and nurturing learning environment for children ages 4‑5.

• Demonstrate ability to manage and supervise a classroom environment.
• Create and implement stimulating and age‑appropriate curriculum for children.
• Supervise and guide children in safe play, both indoors and outdoors.
• Maintain a clean environment and ensure all surfaces and toys are disinfected.
• Assist children with feeding, toileting, diaper changing, and personal care as appropriate.

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (Required). Preferred:
  None.
• Experience: Maintain annual continuing education hour requirements in the designated fields of study as mandated by the Division of Children & Families’ Office of Licensing.
• Preferred: 1–3 years in an Early Childhood Care Center environment.
• Licensure: Maintain Adult and Pediatric CPR and First Aid Certifications. Obtain CARI & CHRI clearance.
• Skills: Ability to research, develop and implement age‑appropriate lesson plans; assess children; discuss assessments with parents; attend conferences and meetings; and be available for teacher conferences.
• Preferred skill: Understanding of child‑care settings and potential risks.
