Lead Teacher – Full-Time

Location: The Goddard School of Flemington, NJ
Shifts Available: Full-Time | Morning Shift | Afternoon Shift

At The Goddard School of Flemington, we’ve been trusted by local families for over 25 years, and we’re looking for a dedicated Lead Teacher to guide our classrooms with care, creativity, and professionalism.

NO nights, weekends, or holiday shifts – ever!

• Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons that promote learning through play and discovery
• Create a warm, safe, and structured classroom environment
• Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and academic growth
• Maintain open, ongoing communication with parents
• Oversee Assistant Teachers and support staff to ensure consistency in the classroom
• Monitor and document developmental progress
• Ensure compliance with NJ licensing, health, and safety standards

• CDA or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (or related field) preferred
• At least 1–2 years of experience in a preschool or childcare setting
• Passion for working with infants, toddlers, or preschoolers
• Strong leadership and classroom management skills
• Positive, dependable, and collaborative team player
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred (training available if not current)
