We are seeking a talented Electrical Engineer with expertise in electrical design, REVIT, and drafting for commercial building construction. This role involves working on a variety of projects, including mid to high‑rise buildings, and provides the opportunity to grow within a dynamic and supportive environment.

• Design and engineer electrical systems for commercial building construction using REVIT.
• Draft and perform calculations for services, voltage drop, and other electrical requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering staff to input red lines and markups into AutoCAD and REVIT.
• Develop electrical designs from schematic stages through to completion.
• Contribute to the electrical portion of projects for commercial and high‑rise building construction.

• Proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD.
• At least 1 year of experience with an MEP consulting firm focusing on electrical design or drafting.
• In‑depth knowledge of the NEC (National Electric Code).
• Experience with electrical design, schematic drafting, and lighting systems.

• 5+ years of experience is preferred, but candidates with 1‑4 years will also be considered.
• Hands‑on experience with electrical design within MEP, including lighting, power distribution, and generator systems for mixed‑use and commercial buildings.
• Engineering degree is not required; however, interest in obtaining a PE license is valued.
• Ability to manage electrical design tasks and perform calculations for lighting, power, and voltage.

Our company offers a small office environment with exposure to large‑scale projects, providing valuable experience across different project types. We maintain a laid‑back atmosphere with very low turnover rates. An ownership path is available, with partners seeking ambitious individuals interested in a partnership track. Work hours are flexible as long as projects are completed on time. The office is supported by a CAD department, and uses REVIT and AutoCAD for all MEP disciplines.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Flemington, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $38.00–$48.00/hr.
