RN - Operating Room - Surgery Center

Job Summary

Assumes responsibility for providing patient care in accordance with established standards of professional nursing care.

Uses surgical skills as a first line direct patient care treatment team. Assumes the surgical treatment team leader when assigned and ensures compliance with all policies and procedures. Uses an understanding of principles of growth and development to assess each surgical patient's age-specific treatment and care.

• Associate’s Degree or Diploma from accredited nursing program required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and certificate and/or Advanced Specialized or Technical Training preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of Operating Room RN experience. Prior Ambulatory Surgical experience is strongly preferred.

Graduate of an accredited NLN program. ACLS preferred. AORN Certification preferred.

Leadership, strong surgical skills and high motivation. Good communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills required. Shows initiative and possesses good problem solving skills. Ability to use special surgical equipment.

Hiring Range: $42.00 - $57.25 Hourly
