Job Summary:

We are seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team! As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work closely with patients daily to assist them with exercises and daily tasks, motivate and encourage them, and correct their posture or form as needed. You will also record accurate patient records, set up necessary equipment, and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

The ideal candidate works well independently and in a team, maintains a positive attitude, and has knowledge of physical therapy guidelines and recommendations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with exercises and daily functional tasks, ensuring safety and proper form
• Review and administer individualized treatment plans
• Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress
• Assist patients using support devices such as walkers, canes, or wheelchairs
• Mentor and support patients through major life changes with positive encouragement and advice
• Maintain all equipment, ensuring cleanliness and safety

Qualifications:

• Current state licensing for physical therapy assistance required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create a positive, nurturing environment
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to work well under pressure and make decisions in high-stress environments
