Req # 78915 | Pay $53.00 Hourly | Per Diem (Mon‑Fri, Day shift)
Job SummaryAssumes responsibility for providing patient care in accordance with established standards of professional nursing care.
Essential Responsibilities- Uses surgical skills as a first line direct patient care treatment team.
- Assumes the surgical treatment team leader when assigned, ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures.
- Applies principles of growth and development to assess each surgical patient’s age‑specific treatment and care.
- Associate’s Degree or Diploma from an accredited nursing program required.
- Preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, certificate and/or advanced specialized or technical training.
Minimum of 3 years of Operating Room RN experience. Prior ambulatory surgical experience is strongly preferred.
Required License, Registry or Certification- Graduate of an accredited NLN program.
- ACLS preferred.
- AORN Certification preferred.
- Leadership, strong surgical skills and high motivation.
- Good communication and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Shows initiative and possesses strong problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to use special surgical equipment.
