This opening is for a control room account executive with a strong work ethic, good attitude, professional demeanor, passion for technology, and who is looking for a career, not just a job. Successful candidates must display good customer service skills that include good oral and written communication, interpersonal abilities, and the ability to interact in a positive way with a wide variety of clients, as well as fellow employees, management, and office personnel.

Hours:
This opening is a salaried position with a commission structure. Typical hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30pm, but our candidates must be able to be flexible on those occasions that require earlier/later hours.
Job Requirements/Duties:
- Create and maintain a portfolio of new clients and leads in our chosen verticals. This position is a hunter role.
- Demonstrated ability to seek out business opportunities and close deals with clients.
- Utilize prospecting and networking skills to generate new leads and build new customer relationships.
- Create sales proposals and additional sales documentation for new clients.
- Create the Bill of Materials (BOM) and any additional documentation needed for each sale.
- Travel to meet with potential clients on site to provide consultations, network, demo equipment etc., as needed.
- Establish working relationships with vendors to provide the best possible solutions for each prospective client.
- Coordinate with the design team and project manager to conceptualize system designs and to determine the requirements of each system.
- Coordinate with the team during project completion.
- Achieve agreed upon sales goals.
- Possess the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Attend trainings, seminars, trade shows, etc. to maintain a working knowledge of audio-visual systems and stay current of AV trends and new products.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, and evenings, if needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or the equivalent
- 3+ years AV sales experience, or equivalent preferred
- Valid NJ Driver’s License
- Satisfactory completion of a pre-employment background check process (includes drug screen)
- Preferred knowledge of:
Biamp, Crestron, Poly - Excellent communication skills
