We are currently recruiting for an energetic Civil Engineering Technician
, to be located in Saint John, N.B. Gulf Operators, Ltd. is a civil contractor experienced in all aspects of civil work including drilling and blasting, concrete work, excavation, water and sewer, as well as aggregate production and sales. • Perform field surveying using total stations, GPS/GNSS equipment, digital levels, drones and other surveying instruments.
• Conduct topographic, boundary, construction layout, and as‑built surveys.
• Collect, process, and validate survey data to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare survey plans, base maps, and digital terrain models using CAD and surveying software.
• Set construction layout for utilities, roads, grading, and structural elements.
• Assist engineers with field inspections, measurements, and quality assurance documentation.
• Maintain survey equipment, field logs, and data records.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures while working in the field and office environments.

• Education:
  
  Associates Degree, specifically Civil Engineering Technology Degree (C.E.T), or a Survey Technology Program.
• Experience with Microsoft Project and AutoCAD.
• Strong communication, organization and time management skills.
• Must be able to excel in a fast‑and team‑based environment.
• Gold Seal Certification would be considered an asset.
