As a Pharmacy Assistant at Neighbourly Pharmacy, you will directly support pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to ensure excellent patient services. Responsibilities include greeting customers, accurately counting and packaging medications, and assisting with prescription entry. Additional tasks involve maintaining a clean pharmacy environment and aiding with daily operations—all while thriving in a collaborative team atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support high-quality patient care alongside pharmacists
• Greet customers and manage phone communications
• Enter, label, and package prescriptions accurately
• Handle medication inventory and monitor supply levels
• Assist with clerical tasks and insurance claims processing
Requirements:
• Experience in a retail pharmacy preferred
• Proficient in Kroll software for data entry
• Completion of a pharmacy assistant program is an asset
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift as needed
