Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Shippo

In this critical role, you'll utilize platform engineering principles to enhance Shippo's infrastructure. Your responsibilities include designing fault-tolerant architectures, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, and building robust monitoring systems. You will work closely with other engineering teams to ensure that our services are automatable, measurable, and resilient.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design scalable and secure infrastructure for business needs

• Build and maintain automation, monitoring, and alerting systems

• Enhance CI/CD pipeline for efficient production releases

• Verify system performance in response times and throughput

• Participate in on-call rotation and peer reviews

Requirements:

• Experience with Kubernetes in production environments

• Proficiency with AWS, GCP, or Azure

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Familiarity with Redis, Elasticsearch, and Hadoop

• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
