Position: Staff Nurse at Boca Recovery Center

The Staff Nurse plays a significant role in the medical services department, providing essential support to clients throughout their recovery. This position demands strong communication abilities and several years of experience in substance abuse or psychiatric settings. You'll handle medical documentation, coordinate with doctors, and facilitate group sessions to promote client health and recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure adherence to infection control practices

• Conduct patient assessments and address medical issues

• Document client symptoms in the EMR system

• Facilitate health-related group sessions

• Assist in training Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs)

Requirements:

• Licensed Registered Nurse in Massachusetts

• CPR Certification must be current

• Several years’ experience in substance abuse settings

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Flexibility for 12-hour shifts, including weekends
