Position: Peepeekisis Based Prevention Services Coordinator
Enhance community wellness with the Peepeekisis Cree Nation as a Prevention Services Coordinator. Focus on familial and community support through specialized prevention projects and workshops.

In this role, you will collaborate with the Community Based Prevention Services Committee and families to create effective community-based prevention services. You will plan, implement, and evaluate workshops aimed at supporting the family unit's strengths and needs. This position emphasizes project-based learning to help at-risk youth achieve their personal and educational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and facilitate community-based prevention workshops

• Coordinate with support staff for prevention activities

• Serve as a liaison between parents and community services

• Consult with school staff on project-based learning initiatives

• Assist families in identifying needs for prevention services

Requirements:

• Grade 12 and community work experience

• OR Certificate/Diploma in a related discipline

• OR Bachelor of Social Work or relevant degree

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle

• CPIC and Vulnerable sector check required
