Chemical Operator

Proactive Personnel are currently recruiting for a Chemical Operator on behalf of one of our well-established clients within the manufacturing and process industry.

• Controlling and monitoring plant production rates to meet operational targets
• Regular review of plant operations to ensure safe and efficient performance
• Maintaining accurate plant and production records
• Controlling production and packaging of finished products in line with customer specifications
• Preventing identified major accident hazards through effective control measures within your area of responsibility
• Carrying out routine inspections of plant areas during each shift
• Ensuring full compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental legislation

• Previous experience working with hazardous materials
• Experience with in a manufacturing or process environment (essential)
• Strong awareness of health and safety procedures
• Ability to follow strict processes and documentation requirements
• A current FLT licence is desirable but not essential
