Warehouse Team Leader

Flint
£32,624 per annum (£16.73 per hour)
Monday to Friday | Double Days: 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm
40-hour contract | 37.5 hours paid
Permanent | Full-time

We're currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join a brand-new manufacturing facility in Flint.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the site during its early stages and play a key part in building the warehouse operation from the ground up
. You'll help establish high standards, support the development of a new team and ensure stock, goods in and shipments are managed safely and efficiently.

The Role
  • Lead and motivate a team of Warehouse Operatives

  • Oversee stock checks, movements, storage and shipments

  • Coordinate goods in and goods out schedules

  • Ensure stock is stored safely, efficiently and accurately

  • Support the preparation and movement of materials for shipment

  • Liaise with hauliers and internal teams regarding stock and deliveries

  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping, organisation and health & safety

  • Support recruitment and training of new warehouse staff

  • Cover for the wider team when required

  • Help establish processes and best practice as the new site develops

About You

We're looking for someone with previous Team Leader experience within a warehouse, manufacturing or distribution environment who is comfortable working hands-on and leading from the front.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Previous Warehouse Team Leader or supervisory experience

  • B1 essential
  • B2 FLT licence - desirable

  • Clamp attachment experience - desirable

  • SAP experience
  • ERP Experience
  • Experience working within a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment

  • Strong communication and leadership skills

  • A proactive approach and willingness to get involved across the operation

  • Good understanding of warehouse safety and stock control
