Work as a team leader to guide a client’s product through the development process into operations. Students are the voice of the client and are responsible for keeping the project on target, on time, and on budget.

Duties and responsibilities
  • Work with clients solve problems and close gaps in the market with their new innovative ideas for a product or service
  • Research and report data regarding industry demand, benchmarks and other relevant information for the client and their new business
  • Manage product through workflow process and report on progress issues
  • Collaborate with specialist in key functions such as engineering, financial analysis, graphic design and industrial design to improve client product outcomes
  • Manage interaction with specialists in key functions working on client products
  • Manage outside contracts and agreements
  • Provide advice on the management of projects
  • Manage expectations and day to day communications with client
  • Marketing Specialist with internal marketing campaigns
  • Work with clients, to create branding materials and website designs
  • Research and suggest materials, colors, textures
  • Create graphics and designs for ads, flyers, products, etc.
  • Collaborate with other departments in regards to design requirements
  • Apply design theories to best convey the image to the audience
  • Present designs to clients or “manager”
  • Include recommended changes from client/”manager
  • Work with the team to cover/attend community events
  • Work on special projects such as student fundraiser, merch item etc
Qualifications
  • Pursuing a degree in Graphic Design or related field
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient with design software (Adobe, Canva, etc.)
  • Management, Leadership, Analytical, and Creative thinking skills
