Salary and Benefits:
NEW Increased Salary schedule for the school year with salaries ranging from $46,600 (BA) to $90,934 (MA+30) depending on qualifications and experience.
Benefits: We offer five different health plans along with dental, vision, life, and disability insurance after one full day of employment. Employees are offered flexible savings (FSA) or healthcare savings (HSA) accounts based on elected medical plan. Retirement savings plans through the Michigan Office of Retirement Services (ORS).

ROLE AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES
The Instructional Consultant provides direct intervention services to students and also serves in a consultative/supportive role with staff, students, parents, and representatives from local districts and community agencies. Responsible for coordination, development, and implementation of instructional practices within assigned areas within a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework.
Essential Duties (May include, but not limited to):
- Provides direct intervention services for students identified as needing additional tiered support.
- Provides consultation to classroom staff in areas such as instructional methods, evaluation, and problem solving.
- Communicates and works cooperatively with school district personnel to promote and facilitate the development and delivery of instruction and behavioral support within a multi-tiered system of support.
- Participates in district MTSS meetings when appropriate.
- Assists teachers with designing instruction based on assessment data.
- Assists in the development, maintenance, and documentation of student’s Plan of Care and related service provision.
- Prepares reports to facilitate and document student services.
- Provides teachers resources and training related to instruction and curriculum.
- Demonstrates knowledge of current research-based methodologies and instructional strategies that engage students.
- Provides instructional strategies and evidence-based practices using data to monitor progress.
- Provides coaching and modeling of evidence-based practices to staff.
- Demonstrates knowledge of using a variety of assessment tools.
- Provides support in analyzing student assessment data.
- Consistently models Win-Win leadership.
