Mathematics Teacher
- Strong content knowledge in middle school mathematics, including pre‑algebra and algebra concepts
- Ability to make math engaging and relevant through real‑world applications and inquiry‑based learning
- Consistent use of formative assessments to monitor progress and adjust instruction
- Skilled in building math confidence and persistence in all learners
- Strong classroom management and an ability to create a safe space for math risk‑taking
- Bachelor’s degree in education or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Valid Michigan teaching certification or the ability to obtain one
- Previous classroom experience at the middle school level strongly preferred
- Demonstrated commitment to student achievement, equity, and growth
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Salary Range: Starting pay $50,000.00 (negotiable). Pay increases based on experience.
Starting Date: 2025‑2026 School Year
Retirement: 401(k) with 4% and an additional 4% matching by the school

College transcripts, three references, and a copy of appropriate credentials should also be submitted during the application process.
